Last call for registration of English Course in February term
Registrations for February term English courses are still available with limited places.

Our teaching centre provides a wide range of English classes that cater for the needs of people of different ages and occupations. Students are guided by our internationally qualified teachers who use a communicative approach to learning English in the most interactive and engaging way possible. Our newly developed exams-preparation courses and the new Senior Secondary English classes are especially popular. We are still recruiting students for February term, but places are limited. Access, Inclusivity and Involvement : workshops led by the English National Ballet

The British Council is organising a three-day train-the-trainers workshop for social workers, caregivers, special-education needs teachers and teaching artists, to be delivered by the specialists from English National Ballet’s Learning and Participation team. The workshops will focus on enhancing participants’ skills base and equipping them with new ideas and processes to develop creative dance work for people with disabilities. Limited seats for professional trainers are available, with the selection process favouring those with previous work experience.

In this year’s British Council PLUS Series at the 38th Hong Kong Arts Festival, world-renowned and award-winning actor and theatre director, Steven Berkoff, will get up-close and personal with drama enthusiasts and practitioners in Hong Kong through a series of theatre exploration events. These events include Devising Physical Theatre, a workshop and demonstration on craft philosophy, devising concepts and rehearsal methods of Berkoff’s signature physical style; Theatre and Society, a talk on theatre appreciation and analysis focusing on reading the social dimensions of On the Waterfront; and Berkoff Meeting the Audience where Berkoff will share his thoughts on theatre and more.
