Peter Jinks was born in 1970 and lives in Sicily. He has been a journalist for The Scotsman (winner of the Young Journalist of the Year award in 1995), a playwright (shortlisted for the STV/Traverse comedy theatre award) and a screenplay writer (his script is in development with the BBC). Hallam Foe (2001) is his first novel, followed by Intuition (2003).
